"Retelling Project" opening, Pat Harrison Gallery, New Albany IN

The Retelling Project has show up now at the Pat Harrison Art Gallery (located at the Southern Indiana Arts Council), in New Albany IN. Both the "Bogarting Hogarth" portfolio and the "Disasters of War:21st Century" are on display. The work will be up through July 4th. In addition to the show I will be giving a lecture on Thursday, May the 28th at 5:00 about the project and the prints that inspired them.

The Pat Harrison Gallery is located at: 820 E. Market St., New Albany, IN 47150

The gallery is open to the public from 10am to 6pm Wednesday-Friday and 12:00 to 4:00 on Saturdays

I am writing to announce the second installment in the Retelling Project, a collaboration of contemporary printmakers in the retelling of classic print series. "Disasters of War: 21st Century' can be found online now at disasterofwar.com.  This print exchange is a follow up to the Bogarting Hogarth print exchange that retells William Hogarth's "A Rakes Progress," Find it at bogartinghogarth.com

Also I am currently looking for participants in the next Retelling print exchange based on Piranesi's "Carceri d'Invencione," or as we now them "Imaginary Prisons."
